Former referee Sebastián Moncloba was sentenced by the Justice for harassment of his colleague Bianca Tedesco

After two days of oral trial, on the day of the date, the former referee Sebastián Moncloba was sentenced for Harassment and Sexual Harassment. After being charged based on a complaint made by his colleague Bianca Tedesco in August of last year.

The accused was sentenced in accordance with the provisions of the Code of rigor to:

1) two days of arrest, the execution of which is suspended

2) establish residence and communicate any change submitting to the control of the Secretariat for Coordination and Execution of Judgments

3) carry out the Assistance Program for men who have used violence against women

4) prohibition of approach for 200 meters with the victim. All this for a period of one year.

The Complaint in charge of Dr. Paula Ojeda and the 36th City Prosecutor’s Office in charge of Dr. Adrian Davila, together with the Judgment issued by Dr. Carla Cavaliere, is the first precedent that is set in terms of gender in the field sports being a “Leading Case” at the National level.

It should be remembered that the victim, Bianca Tedesco, works as a Referee for the Argentine Association of Basketball Referees, where Sebastián Moncloba also worked, as director, who was separated by the Argentine Basketball Confederation before this complaint.
