The tug of war between AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain over ex-Bayern flop Renato Sanches (24) has apparently been decided.
As the Portuguese sports newspaper “O Jogo” reports, the 2016 European champion is about to switch to PSG. Accordingly, the Parisians outdid the Italians in courting the midfield clearer.
A lending business is planned first. Sanches still has a contract with Ligue 1 club LOSC Lille until 2023. He is now moving to Paris on loan for a season. PSG then has a purchase obligation. Because Sanches only has a year’s contract in Lille, this purchase obligation is quite low. PSG therefore only has to pay a transfer fee of around ten million euros. Both clubs have been able to agree on this model. So Sanches becomes a bargain for the club of superstars Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi and Neymar.
In Paris, Sanches will meet an old friend: coach Christophe Galtier (55). The Frenchman was coach at Sanches’ club Lille until 2021. Together they both won the French championship in the 2020/21 season. Now it’s time to see you again.
