After her exploits on the national tatami mats, Faustine l’Hippolytaine has taken another step forward.
Trained at the town’s judo club (read our edition of Sunday May 22), the astonishing judoka Faustine Wallon has not finished surprising. After joining the hope pole in Toulouse, she goes on to perform well.
Under the aegis of the IOC
First in the ranking list (French ranking) in her category, she was selected with the French team for Croatia and in the process was crowned French champion last April. Faustine then applies for the France pole in Bordeaux which opens its doors to her.
Recently, the Hippolytaine was called to participate in the European Cup of Coimbra in Portugal. During this competition, she finished 3rd, in the cadet category under 52 kg. This is the first international podium for the Catalan.
In view of these excellent results, Faustine was selected for the French team to participate in the European Youth Olympic Festival which takes place end of July in Slovakia. A high-level competition placed under the aegis of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
The beautiful adventure continues for Faustine who has not finished making people talk about her.
