Failed to Break Egg Again, Chinese Taipei Men’s Doubles Asks for ‘Help’ from Indonesia

Chinese Taipei men’s doubles, Lee Yang asked for ‘help’ from Indonesia after failing to break an egg after failing to win the title at home.

INDOSPORT.COM – Chinese Taipei men’s doubles, Lee Yang asked for ‘help’ from Indonesia after failing to break an egg after failing to win the title at home.

As is known recently, a number of badminton players have just finished the Chinese Taipei Open 2022 tournament, which took place on 19-24 July 2022 yesterday.

Indonesia itself failed to win the title after three of its representatives lost in the initial round of the BWF Super 300 event.

Meanwhile, Chinese Taipei as the host managed to send three representatives in the final round, namely Chou Tien Chen in the men’s singles number.

Then there are the women’s singles, Tai Tzu Ying and the men’s doubles Lee Yang/Wang Chi Lin, all of whom have the status of first seed.

Two of his representatives, Chou Tien Chen and Tai Tzu Ying, won the championship title. Meanwhile, Lee Yang/Wang Chi Lin had to settle for runner-up.

The reason is, Lee / Wang were defeated by the sixth seed from Malaysia, Man Wei Chong / Kan Wui Tee through rubber games with a thin score of 18-21, 21-11, 18-21.

Although they finally showed progress because they reached the final round, in fact this failure extended Lee/Wang’s bad streak in almost the past year.

This is because, after winning the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the Lee Yang/Wang Chi Lin pair have not won a single title, and have almost always been eliminated in the early rounds of a number of BWF World Tour matches.

Knowing that the egg had failed again, Lee Yang even ‘asked for help’ from Indonesia after receiving encouraging comments from Herry IP after his defeat at the Chinese Taipei Open 2022.
