Today, at the archery field in the Baitè region of Imperia, an interregional archery competition took place, a target specialty, organized by the Imperia Archers, refereed by the competition judge Beppe Capalbo.
The standard bearers of the Compagnia Arcieri San Bartolomeo achieved good results.
In the Olympic division an excellent second place for the very young Simone Tiengo, in his first race over a distance of 25 meters. Among the masters second place for Cesare Argento. In the barebow division first place senior female for Lucia Lenzi who, for the third consecutive time, improves her personal record. Among the masters a good second place for Maurizio Gabrielli and fourth place for Salvatore D’Amico, making his debut on the distance of 50 meters.
The Gialloblù, on Sunday 10 July on the archery field of San Bartolomeo al Mare, will organize the Trofeo del Sole, a plate competition open to the Olympic divisions, barebow, compound, valid for qualification for the next Italian plate championships that will take place at the end of August in Oderzo (TV) and for the qualification for the next Coppa Italia naked arch which will take place in Settimo Torinese (TO) in mid-October.
