Everything is ready to celebrate the biggest 3×3 of Street Basketball this weekend in Malpartida de Cáceres | Mismatch of Caceres

From 9:00 in the morning until 02:00 in the morning, 17 continuous hours of basketball, fun and music under umbrellas in the Plaza Mayor of Malpartida de Cáceres

The reality is that in Malpartida de Cáceres it does not stop: if last week the Summer Carnival was celebrated bringing together almost 5,000 people, and the previous weeks the Ibicenca Festival was celebrated with more than 4,000 people, the Color Dinner or the Night of the Entrepreneurship, now it is the turn of the largest 3×3 of Basketball in the Street that is organized in Extremadura. It will be this Saturday, July 30 under the 1,500 umbrellas of the Plaza Mayor of Malpartida de Cáceres.

It will be the fourteenth edition of a 3×3 that is a reference in Extremadura, as it has brought together 106 teams with professional basketball players, including LEB category. It is organized by the Malpartida Basketball Association and the City Council of Malpartida de Cáceres.

To do this, 5 basketball courts will be installed in the Plaza Mayor, where the competition will take place in 5 different categories: absolute men’s and women’s, men’s and women’s sub’16 and mixed sub’12. In addition, along with the competition, a triple contest, a triple contest and contests for the little ones with a skills contest and a raffle of up to 100 basketballs are organized. For this, the same prizes are established in the male and female categories, with the total prizes being 1,650 euros. Team registrations close on Thursday, July 28, at 3:00 p.m. and can be done at www.deporticket.com.

All this enlivened with music and animation throughout the day, and focused on taking maximum care of the participants who will be given a shirt, bag, water, free tickets for the pool, etc. This day was established as one of the most important days for the Malpartideña hospitality industry, since more than 2,000 people are expected to attend throughout the day.

From the City Council, in the words of its Mayor, Alfredo Aguilera, it expresses its satisfaction because not only is a sport with deep roots in Malpartida de Cáceres and more so among women promoted on the street, but at the same time it has become a Very important economic claim for its ability to promote the image of Malpartida and attract visitors with the economic return that it entails.
