BOLASPORT.COM – Manchester United coach, Erik ten Hag, refused to blame David de Gea for his team’s minor result in the Premier League pre-season match against Aston Villa.

Manchester United only played 2-2 against Aston Villa in the Premier League pre-season match at Optus Stadium, Perth, Australia, Saturday (23/7/2022).

Man United went 2-0 up through Jadon Sancho’s goal (25th minute) and Matty Cash’s own goal (42′).

Aston Villa rose in the second half. Leon Bailey overcame the deficit in the 49th minute.

Towards the end, Aston Villa equalized through Calum Chambers’ goal (90+3′).

This draw has inevitably become the talk of Man United supporters, especially because of the appearance of Calum Chambers’ goal.

Man United fans think De Gea should be able to stop Calum Chambers’ goal process.

However, the Spaniard was standing in the wrong position and couldn’t prevent Chambers’ header from capitalizing on a corner from Leon Bailey.
