Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has against after the 0:3 defeat of the Finnish soccer players at the European Championship Deutschland sent an ironic dig at her Finnish counterpart Pekka Haavisto.
“Sorry, dear @Haavisto, that the @DFB_Frauen once again played such efficient football tonight at #FINGER. But we’ll soon be playing together as a team NATO. I’m looking forward to the quarterfinals now! #WEURO2022″, it said on the Twitter channel of the Green politician (41).
EM 2022: Germany in the quarterfinals against Austria
The DFB selection had at the European Championship in England their last group game on Saturday evening won against the already eliminated Finns.
