“Nomura Dojo” is a judo event produced by judoka Tadahiro Nomura, who won the gold medal in three consecutive Olympic tournaments. “Tradition” and “innovation” are based on the three concepts of traditional value, judo activation, and innovative tradition. It is a fusion of the two elements.
Since the first event held in September 2019, it has been held online by Korona-ka, but this time it will be the first real event in about 3 years. Ayumi Tanimoto (63 kg class for women), a gold medalist at the Athens 2004 Olympics and Beijing 2008 Olympics, was invited as a special lecturer, and Shohei Ono (73 kg class for boys), who won the gold medal at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics and Tokyo 2020 Olympics, was invited as a special guest. In addition to directly instructing the children who will lead the future judo world, we will also interact with each other at the question corner.
