Brescia basketball, the pre-season program has been made official

The new season is knocking on the doors and the calendar of the first appointments of the one taking shape German it will be the seventh consecutive season to be played in the Serie A championship and the fourth in its history in the 7DAYS EuroCup. The players who will make up the biancoblu roster in the 2022-2023 season will arrive in Brescia starting from 15 August and will begin to carry out the usual medical examinations and carry out the first individual training sessions.

The start of team training is set for Saturday 20 Augustthe sessions will take place between the PalaLeonessa A2A and the Polivalente in via Collebeato, considering the fact that on Saturday 27 August the match between the Italian national team and Georgia, valid for the second qualifying round for the Cup, will take place at the plant in via Caprera of the World of 2023.

Monday 29th August the team will leave for the Camonica Valley, where the training camp will take place. After three years, therefore, Germani will return to Ponte di Legno, taking advantage of the collaboration of two strategic partners, the ‘Giuseppe Zanardelli’ Professional Training Center, Partner of Pallacanestro Brescia, and of Slingofer, Silver Sponsor of the biancoblu club and Top Sponsor of the training camp.

During the week of the retreat the first scrimmage of the season will be organized, both at the PalaRomele in Pisogne. Thursday 1 September (time to be determined) Brescia will face the Ferrara Basketball Cluba team that plays in Serie A2, while on Sunday 4 September (time to be determined), at the end of the 2022 training camp, Germani will face the Austrian team of Kapfenberg Bulls.

The following commitment of the biancoblu preseason is set for Wednesday 7 September: on the occasion of the traditional summer appointment of Trophy of the AngelsGermani will challenge the Cantù basketballone of the most popular teams of the next Serie A2 championship, in a match that will be played in Brianza, at the Palasport in Senna Comasco or Pala Francescucci in Casnate with Bernate.

Saturday 10 September will strike the traditional hour Roberto Ferrari Trophy, now in its sixth edition. The match, scheduled at PalaLeonessa A2A, will represent Germani’s debut in front of its own public: for the occasion, Alessandro Magro’s team will face the Bertram Tortonaa team that in the last Serie A championship reached the semifinals of the Scudetto playoffs.

Germani’s preseason will continue with two other fascinating appointments, the Carlo Lovari Trophy and the Memorial Matteo Bertolazzi. The seventh edition of the Carlo Lovari Trophy will take place at the PalaTagliate in Lucca, where a quadrangular (with semi-final and final competitions) will be staged in which they will participate Virtus Segafredo Bologna, Bertram Tortona e Umana Reyer Venice. The tournament will take place on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th September.

The following week Brescia will close its preseason by participating in the Matteo Bertolazzi Memorial, on stage at the PalaCiti in Parma on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September. Three other Serie A teams will participate in the event, the UNAHOTELS Reggio Emiliathe Dolomites Energy Trentino and theOpenjobmetis Varese.

At the end of the tournament in Emilia, Brescia will start preparing the first official appointments of its season: on October 2, in fact, the debut in the championship is scheduled, while the one in EuroCup is set for Tuesday 11 October, the day in which the guided training as coach Alessandro Magro will play away on the field of Joventut Badalona.
