Borussia Mönchengladbach: Fan wears Patrick Herrmann on his upper arm – Bundesliga

At the training sessions on the FC Rottach-Egern pitch, around 500 fans watch every Borussia session. Many supporters in jerseys and Borussia T-shirts, some even with rhombuses and “Borussia” lettering as tattoos.

One even wears a professional’s painting on his skin…

Crazy fan love: Herrmann portrait on the upper arm!

Borussia supporter Frank Salaske (54) from Coburg has a huge portrait of Patrick Herrmann tattooed on his upper arm: “I’ve been a Gladbach fan for 40 years, a member for 25 years – and I’ve had Patrick’s portrait on my shirt for three years Poor. For me, he’s just a cult, a real Borusse. He will definitely remain the only player I get tattooed.”

In order to show everyone his passion for Gladbach, Salaske first had his calves tattooed: Borussia Park on his left leg with the inscription “Like father like son”, on the right a huge diamond and the title of the club anthem “Die soul burns”.

Three years ago, he decided to also carry Herrmann with him around the clock. In addition to the large portrait photo, he also had his favorite player in a jersey tattooed on his arm, a little smaller. The cost of the tattoos is around 1,500 euros.

With the blessing of his wife Danja (52, also a Gladbach supporter), who now also goes to bed with Herrmann’s picture: “I was in the studio with Frank, we chose Patrick’s picture together.”

BILD brought Salaske together with his idol at the training ground!

Herrmann was totally impressed afterwards: “Just great, the portrait looks great. I never dreamed that I would see myself tattooed on a fan’s arm.”

Salaske has also passed on the passion for foals – son Timon (21) has already had “Borussia Mönchengladbach” tattooed on his forearm.
