Blockade in the San Cristóbal-Ocosingo section FNLS asks to release political prisoners – El Heraldo de Chiapas

Three years after the alleged incursion of the Mexican army and the state police in the Ejido Río Florido municipality of Ocosingo, where 5 elements of the state police were detained and days later they were released after having set up a negotiating table in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, where the uniformed men had promised to respect the indigenous community.

In protest, a group of people members of the National Front of Struggle for Socialism (FNLS) They installed a boat on the Federal San Cristóbal-Ocosingo highway section at the height of the Río Florido community, where the majority belong to the FNLS.

So they also installed another boat on the State road section Ocosingo-Altamirano at the height of the town Las Perlas, members of the same organization charging a fee of 30 and 50 pesos per vehicle according to size.

The group of approximately 50 indigenous people from this organization indicate that this boating will end after 4:00 p.m. this Monday and thus they also demand the release of political prisonersas well as a stop to the persecution and harassment of social fighters.
