The Ciudad de Badajoz Basketball Club ended seven days of fun at its traditional campus which, like every year, was held at the V Centenario University Residence in Jarandilla de La Vera. From July 7 to 14, more than 55 players between the ages of 7 and 17 have participated in this thirteenth edition. For the first time, the campus has received players from other clubs in the region such as Don Benido’s AD21 and Baloncesto Tierra de Barros. Also, for the first time, it has had a female presence. These participants have enjoyed basketball technical training, physical preparation, internal competition and outdoor activities such as games, swimming pools and excursions.
The campus also received the visit of Sergio Acevedo, referee from Badajoz of LEB Oro and Liga Femenina 1, offering a talk to the participants and holding a masterclass on the track to talk about the regulations and its novelties. From the organization they make a positive balance of the consolidation of the event, as well as the improvements. “We are very satisfied with the performance of the campus. The boys and girls have enjoyed some magnificent days and have progressed at the basketball level”, mentions Adri Zambrano, coordinator of the club.
