As part of the preparation for the participation in the tournament which will begin in Turkey on August 9, the archers are increasing the intense preparation sessions. Alwihda Info attended one of them on July 16 at the Habbena municipal stadium.
“The preparation of our shooters is generally going quite passably”, explains Nguelet Kouago, national technical director of the Chadian Archery Federation. He says the shooters are prepared physically, technically and psychologically.
Nguelet Kouago continues by saying that they must not only participate in this competition but also shine with their skills because results are expected of them.
“Encourage them to do more than what they are doing now, have the morale to be able to show the world that we can also express our talent in this next upcoming competition”he adds.
Nguelet Kouago urges the Chadian government to financially and materially support this sport “because we cannot participate in this competition without equipment, especially arrows”.
