Exactly 110 years after Thorpe’s victory at the Stockholm Olympics, the International Olympic Committee is now addressing that question. “We welcome the fact that a solution has been found thanks to the great efforts of Bright Path Strong,” said President Thomas Bach. “This is a very exceptional and unique situation, which has been addressed by an extraordinary gesture from fair play of the concerned National Olympic Committees.”
