Alexis García’s darts for Junior at a press conference

The coach from Chocó expressed that, for him, his team was the one that most wanted the game and that the rojiblancos “respected” them a lot, especially in the second half.

“I think the team played well. The team that had the highest intention to win the match based on what they faced in the game was Equity. I saw the clearest options on our part. Our goalkeeper didn’t have as much work and our defense behaved up to the task. In attack we had very clear scoring options, especially in the first half.

“I counted three or four options. In the second half Junior respected us, he threw himself further back, he almost buckled down with a 5-4-1. The game was cut short and that meant we couldn’t keep trying, but the team was the one with the greatest intention to win the game”, the coach commented at the press conference.
