Alcaraz suffers in his premiere in Hamburg

The Spaniard’s reaction was not long in coming and he forced the third and final set in a second round where he was never disturbed.

But the German knew how to recover and return to the match for a third set where the options of both to the rest were in the first games, especially a 15-40 for the first favorite with 2-2. From there, a lot of equality and ended up deciding the ‘tie-break’ for the Murcian (7/3).

For his part, the Asturian Pablo Carrenofourth-seeded, encountered fewer problems in his debut against Italian Luca Nardi, classified from the previous one and who he got rid of with authority 6-2, 6-1 in just over an hour.
