A beautiful gold medal that Sabine Dupourqué, of the Franciscan Judo Club, went to win at the French veterans championship which took place at the sports hall of Tremblay-en-France (Seine-Saint-Denis) on June 18 and 19 . She had been selected for June 18 after having participated in two labeled tournaments, a third place in Saint-Aubin and a second place in Auch.
A season that ends in style
A great adventure that she lived with her family, accompanied by her coach and husband Laurent Sarrabaïg, coach of Judo Vlub de Condom, but also supported by her daughter Flori, black belt in judo. A medal that rewards long years of practice and commitment to the service of Franciscan Judo Vlub, where she also holds the position of treasurer. As for the Franciscan judokas, they have been trained by Guillen Sarrabaig since 2020. The club currently has 33 members, including a taïso section.
Training takes place on Wednesday evening and Saturday morning. This Saturday morning will mark the end of the Franciscan judo season with graduation ceremonies, an outing to Z’Animoland, and a meal to end the evening.
There is no doubt that Sabine will again be honored by all the members and members of the association.
