A day of exchanges between young people from Val d’Albret Basket and kayakers from Lavardac was organized to the delight of the participants. Starting from the desire to introduce their members to other sporting activities, the managers of the two associations had planned an attractive program for the fifty or so athletes present. During the morning, a basketball tournament in teams of four, made up of kayakers and basketball players, girls and boys, took place, before a picnic taken together, then an afternoon canoeing and kayaking. One group in a canoe discovered the river and its environment, and the other learned to navigate in a kayak, something that seems simpler than it is if we are to believe the number of falls… After this sporting day that everyone would have appreciated , the athletes shared a well-deserved snack with the firm intention of repeating the operation!
