While the opening ceremony of the 4th Namyangju City Council Chairperson Badminton Tournament was held at the indoor gymnasium of the Namyangju Sports and Culture Center on the 9th, Namyangju Mayor Joo Gwang-deok had time to visit and encourage and communicate with athletes on the weekend.

Namyangju Mayor Joo Gwang-deok, as well as Namyangju City Council Vice-Chairman Lee Sang-ki and city and provincial councilors, attended the opening ceremony to celebrate the event.

Namyangju City Mayor Joo Gwang-deok, who attended the opening ceremony, said, “We will improve the environment so that it can be reborn as the best city where you can enjoy badminton happily and happily. I will work harder so that you can feel proud to live in Namyangju.” He said, “From now on, we will communicate and cooperate with the city council as well as Chairman Kim Hyun-taek of Namyangju City Council to make Namyangju the richest city in Korea and ensure the ‘Namyangju Super Growth Era’. I’ll open it up,” he said.

Meanwhile, the ‘2022 Namyangju City Council Chairperson Life Sports Competition’, which started with a badminton tournament, will be held in a total of 13 sports, including soccer, table tennis, foot volleyball, and volleyball. It will be held consecutively.
