World champion Mario Götze should solve a big problem at Eintracht Frankfurt – Bundesliga

This transfer plan electrifies the Bundesliga.

Does Eintracht really bring back world champion Mario Götze (30)? The PSV Eindhoven star (€4m release clause) is still considering. A decision should be made quickly. BILD knows: Götze wants to play at a higher level again.

But Benfica Lisbon with Götze’s former Eindhoven coach Roger Schmidt is still in the running. He had brought the playmaker back on track.

Frankfurt is hopeful, in contact with their dream player. According to BILD information, coach Oliver Glasner (47) should also be in contact with Götze.

The coach can use the strong ten against extremely defensive opponents in the Bundesliga. Götze knows possession football from Holland/Eindhoven and from his former clubs Bayern and Dortmund. He is very strong in the final third because of his technical ability. And above all, he can play the penultimate ball to use Eintracht’s pace players Lindstrøm, Kolo Muani & Co.

“I don’t know him personally, but in terms of player type he would be an excellent fit for us,” explained defensive star Martin Hinteregger (29) on Sky.

Since the departure of problem professional Amin Younes (28/to Saudi Arabia last winter), the Frankfurters have been missing a ball-safe player who can find holes in the opposing defense, push through short passes to the top – and who can cause fouls in front of the penalty area through skillful ball control out.

Coach Glasner’s team had major difficulties last season. And football board member Markus Krösche (41) suspects that Eintracht as the winner of the Europa League is a special challenge for many opponents: “Even more opponents will defend deeply against us.”

Means: The opponents are lurking for counterattacks and are betting that Eintracht will not find any means against their tight defense.

That’s where Götze should start. In addition, bring his experience of 62 games to the Champions League, in which Eintracht is participating for the first time.
