Why Nico Oroz can not play in Racing

Nicolás Oroz has been working with the Racing team for several weeks. When it seemed that he would be loaned out to another club again, Fernando Gago spoke with him as a creative midfielder and asked him to stay at the club because he will take it into consideration. However, he was not even summoned for a game. Reasons? In this note we tell why Oroz cannot play in Racing.

As confirmed to Racing de Alma, Nico will only be able to play at the Academy on July 1, because on the 30th of this month the one-year contract that he had signed with Volos of the Greek First Division will expire. In other words, it will be able to go on stage on Sunday the 3rd of next month, when the Academy visits Sarmiento de Junín, on the date prior to the Avellaneda classic, to be played at the Cilindro, on Sunday the 10th, starting at 3:30 p.m. .

The coach gave Nico a specific routine of tasks so that he could physically get in tune with the rest of the squad, a stage that he has already passed. Oroz has been training normally, and with the enthusiasm generated by the talk in which Pintita gave him confidence. He liked what the DT told him so much that he rejected several proposals received from Argentine soccer and abroad. Nico wants a rematch at the club from which he emerged footballingly.

What Gago said to Oroz, who still cannot play in Racing

Gago informed the midfielder that his priority idea is to use him, at least, as a replacement on the far right, with the profile changed, so that he hooks inwards and remains with the goal facing forward. Something similar to what the trainer looks for when he places Matias Rojas. Although, of course, once he recovers from the incomplete fracture of the tarsal scaphoid in his right foot, Gabriel Hauche will be the starter for that sector of the attack.

Since Hauche’s injury in April of this year, Gago has tried several players on the right: Fa.bricio Domínguez, Benjamín Garre (he already plays for Huracán), the aforementioned Rojas and Tomás Chancalay.

Oroz, 28, has a current relationship with Racing until June 2023 and his representative is in full talks with the leaders for the extension of the relationship. At the Acadé, the man from San Luis could never gain a foothold and that is why he had a loan raid: he went through Chacarita, O’Higgins, Universidad de Chile, AL Wasl of the United Arab Emirates and Volos. He had several offers on the table, some important from the economic point of view, but his desire to add filming in Racing was stronger and he can’t wait to make his debut with the light blue and white.
