What would be the lineup of Mexico for the World Baseball Classic?

The World Baseball Classic is still a while away, but Mexico is already starting to get ready for the competition with the aim of surpassing its best performance, sixth place in 2006.

To go for that goal in Mexico they have several figures who have gained prominence in MLB, as well as high-performing players in the local league. This could be the 2023 lineup.

At 25 years old, Urías is playing his fifth season in the Major Leagues and third with the Milwaukee Brewers. He is capable of defending second and third base as well, but he has mostly played shortstop in his professional career. In the 2022 season he has a .214/.311/.359 offensive line, 6 homers, 3 doubles and 17 RBIs in 40 games. He’s had good defensive interventions and right now he’s dealing with hamstring ailments.
