Lee Zii Jia said that Axelsen had a rock-hard mentality. This is considered to be the reason why the player who was born in Odense 28 years ago is always difficult to match.

“If you look mentally, he is quite strong, that’s why other players are quite difficult to beat him,” said Lee Zii Jia.

Axelsen’s recent record is indeed very flashy. The reason is, Axelsen is unbeaten again after being beaten by Lakhsya Sen in the semifinals of the German Open 2022 in March.
