Viaplay will compensate customers, says Consumers’ Association

“So there are still many customers who experience problems. They need good help. Viaplay cannot get rid of it by stating that the cause of the problems is not with the company itself.” Viaplay is now responding to reports that consumers make to the Complaints Compass forum.

Before the streaming service pays out compensation, it must be clear that the company is causing the problems and that the customers’ equipment meets the requirements. It is not yet known what the compensation entails. The Consumers’ Association mentions a price reduction for the period that the service faltered as a possibility.

The streaming service does not answer questions from the NOS about complaints, compensation and a possible cause of connection problems. “Happy customers are essential to Viaplay and we treat each case individually,” the company said.
