Venezuela heading to the Valledupar 2022 Bolivarian Games | Other Sports 123

The Venezuelan delegation is in the countdown for the XIX Bolivarian Games Valledupar 2022 which will take place from Friday June 24 to July 5. With this regional fair, the short Olympic cycle of Paris 2024 will begin.

Venezuela will participate in 22 of the 33 disciplines, where it will be represented by 584 athletes, of which 290 are female and 294 male. Also, 453 Creole athletes are doing the preparation on national soil and 88 on an international scale.

The inauguration of the upcoming edition of the Bolivarian Games can be enjoyed on the channel of sports specialists, Meridiano television starting at 8 p.m. In addition, on this occasion the judoka Elvismar Rodriguez and the taekwondo player Yohandri Granado will carry the national flag.

Nevertheless, from June 23 you can already see action with the fencing team in the form of men’s foil and women’s épée. Hours before the protocol act, the following disciplines will also begin: Basketball, Bowling, Road cycling, Rowing and Volleyball.

In this edition Venezuela will have a delegation that will combine youth with experience, from the experienced Andrés Madera, Luis Avendaño, Elvismar Rodriguez, Karen León and Rubén Limardo to the talented youngsters Yohandri Granado, Keydomar Vallenilla and Neiser Marimón.
