Venezuela has its standard-bearers for Valledupar

Elvismar Rodríguez and Yohandri Granado will be in charge of wearing the tricolor at the opening of the Bolivarian Games of Valledupar 2022. This was announced by the Venezuelan Olympic Committee this Monday.

Elvismar Rodríguez, the experienced judo athlete is preparing to score points towards the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and represent the country with her participation in the new edition of the Bolivarian Games.

The judoka hung her first gold medal in 2022 at the Pan American-Oceania Judo Championship, which took place in Peru in April. The athlete was one of the most outstanding in the contest.

Yohandri Granado will be the companion of Rodríguez in the great event that will be inaugurated this coming July 24.

Granado defeated the Guatemalan representative in the final of the Taekwondo Open in the -58 kg category to win the gold.

A total of 584 Venezuelans will travel to Colombia to participate in the 33 disciplines, some have already left for the neighboring country, while others will complete their training and in the next few days they will be landing for a new fair.
