Venezuela adds 60 medals at the Valledupar 2022 Games

Caracas.- Venezuela continues to add medals at the Valledupar 2022 Bolivarian Games, which are held in Colombia, where so far the Venezuelan delegation has won 60 medals so far in the competition.

Through its account on the social network Twitter, the Venezuelan Olympic Committee reported that this Tuesday the mixed Judo team won the gold medal, from a team made up of: Elvismar Rodríguez (-70KG), Karen León (+70KG), Kady Cabezo (-57KG), Carlos Páez (-90KG), Sergio Mattey (-73KG) and Luis Amezquita (+90KG).

Likewise, the Venezuelan Andrés Madera achieved the gold medal in the -67KG competition in Kumite, by beating the Panamanian Alberto Gálvez 4-0 in the final.

In show jumping, Edwar Rolin won the silver medal with 13,934 points in the final. In high bar, Edward Rolin also got the silver medal, and got the bronze medal in parallel bars.

For his part, Víctor Betancourt won the gold medal in Artistic Gymnastics, after achieving a score of 13,733 points in the final.

With these results, of the 60 medals obtained so far by Venezuela in the Valledupar 2022 Bolivarian Games, 18 are gold medals, 16 silver and 26 bronze.
