A great basketball party: it was the one staged last June 11 at the Vacallo elementary school pitch. In fact, the local yellow-green Youth organized the yellow-green Streetball basketball tournament which saw about a hundred athletes on the field divided into 22 teams. All, as the promoters point out, “fought in a sporting battle characterized by spectacular plays and great fair play”.
The ‘Real-colizzati’ for the Junior / senior category and the ‘Magic Jordan’ for the U12 category won the event. While the sympathy prize was awarded to friends from Brescia ‘I Bresà’. The winners were all the participants in the event marked by music, joy and grilled specialties.
The event was also made possible thanks to the support of supporters and the Municipality of Vacallo and the contribution of volunteers. Certainly a good collective action given that the proceeds of the day were donated to the youth movement Sav Basket. The net proceeds of was 1,842 francs. On an overall balance sheet, over 19,000 francs were raised in eight editions.
At this point the next appointment is for the end of August with the Sav country festivals.
