Usika and Joshua’s revenge fight will take place on August 20

For the British boxer, this will be his second fight in Saudi Arabia. He first went there in December 2019, when the Americans defeated Andy Ruiss and won the same belts they will try to recover.

After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Usik went to defend his homeland, but less than a month later he was allowed to leave the country to prepare for the fight with Joshua.

35-year-old Usik has 19 fights behind him in professional boxing, all won, 13 of them by slaughter. In January 2018, he won the Latvian Mairi Briedi in the first heavyweight category semi-final of the first season of the World Boxing Super Series in Riga.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old Joshua has won 26 fights in professional boxing, of which 24, 22 of them have been killed.

The World Boxing Council (WBC) champion belt is currently held by British Tyson Fury, who once again defeated the American Dilian White after a fight in April to confirm he was about to end his career.
