Under-20 World Cup: El Salvador-Guatemala, live

The El Salvador team won 5-1 its similar team from Guatemala in the pre-world championship of the category, in a match played at the Tegucigalpa National Stadium.

El Salvador had the first clear goal option at minute 11, from the boots of Andrés Rivas, who crashed the ball into the post of the opposite goal. The pass was provided by Isaac Esquivel.

The first goal was scored by Alexander Romero from outside the area in minute 15.

The second goal came through an own goal by Arian Recinos, caused by the national striker Andrés Rivas, at minute 35.

Arquimidez Ordóñez scored the first for the Guatemalans in the 58th minute.

Mayer Gil scored the third for the Salvadorans in the 61st minute, entering the area from the right-hand side, shooting with first intention.

Harold Osorio scored a great goal from outside the area at minute 65 to put the Cuscatlecos fourth.

El Salvador’s fifth goal was scored by Danny Ríos at minute 85.

The blue team comes from achieving the runner-up position in the UNCAF tournament of the category, although they face a Guatemalan team that will not be a rival that will leave spaces.
