TV for the round of 16

The Copa Libertadores returns with the start of the direct elimination matches. These are the first leg matches of the round of 16 with the presence of six Argentine teams and the fans of Boca, Colón, Talleres, Vélez, River and Estudiantes can now find out where their teams will be televised.

The key to the Libertadores.

The activity for the clubs of our country will be opened by Boca, with its visit to Corinthians in San Pablo on Tuesday 28 in the second shift (from 9:30 p.m.). A day later, the two crosses between Argentines will arrive: at 7:15 p.m., Talleres will receive Colón at the Mario Alberto Kempes in Córdoba and at 9:30 p.m., Vélez will host River, from 9:30 p.m. at the José Amalfitani stadium. On Thursday, at 9:30 p.m., Estudiantes will go to Brazil to play Fortaleza. All these matches will be seen on the Fox Sports screen.

The rematches will be played during the first week of July.

AN ARGENTINE SEMIFINALIST

In the semifinals there will be a team from Argentina. And this is due to the fact that Colón will play in the round of 16 against Talleres and River will do the same against Vélez, and in turn the winners of those matches will face each other in the quarterfinals, resulting in one of the four semifinalists.

On that same side of the table, the other semifinalist could be Boca, which will start facing Corinthians in the round of 16, with whom it shared a group. If they overcome that first instance, they will face the winner of Deportes Tolima-Flamengo. In other words, in the event that Xeneize reaches the semis, it could cross paths with River, giving shape to what would be a new edition of the superclassic that has given us so much in this last century.

The only Argentine left on the other side of the table is Estudiantes, who will face Fortaleza in the round of 16 and then, if they pass, the winner of the key between Athletico Paranaense and Libertad de Paraguay.

THE TV FOR THE SOUTH AMERICAN

Unión and Lanús are the only two teams that have advanced to the round of 16 of the South American and both will play as visitors at the start of the direct elimination matches. Tatengue will go to Uruguay on Tuesday 28 to play with Nacional, while Grana will visit Independiente del Valle, in Ecuador, on Thursday from 7:15 p.m. Both can be seen on the ESPN screen.
