On June 13 Community Judo celebrated 30 years of life, bringing the sport to children, youth and adults from the neighborhoods of Oberá.. For this reason, those responsible received recognition from the Obereño Deliberative Council.
Councilor María Helena Kudelko highlighted the work they carry out in the different neighborhoods of the city, highlighting that in addition to what sport implies in the well-being of people, it is also a social and integrating work that Sensei has been developing for so long. «From the Municipality, the space was provided and monitored to make this sport a space for recreation, containment and meeting for the Obereña community. As a result of this valuable commitment and work, many students have distinguished themselves in different national and international events. We celebrate those spaces that generate a sense of belonging, making this discipline stand out and be sustained over time.”, expressed the legislator.
For his part, Sensei Raúl Paredes was very happy, highlighting that after 30 years the fruits of all the work they have done over the years can be seen.

Community Judo has an enrollment of approximately 200 students in Oberá, in the San Miguel, 100 Hectareas, Caballeriza and Complexo Ian Barney neighborhoods.
