Top 14: Baptiste Pesenti moves from Racing 92 to Stade Français

It was time. A few hours before the closing of the transfer market, the Stade Français has been enriched with two new recruits. Baptiste Pesenti, from Racing 92, will just have to cross the ring road, while Théo Dachary arrives from Toulon.

The 24-year-old second row landed at Racing a year ago, after five seasons at Section Paloise. Injured in the shoulder from the 5th day, he only returned to the game last January, with mixed success.

With only seven tenures in the league, its leaders finally agreed to entrust it to the Parisian neighbor before the end of its lease.

Dachary returns from a serious injury

A boon for the Stade Français, which was looking for a boy of this profile to complete its rich workforce of 12 arrivals, including that of the historic Clermontois Morgan Parra. Pesenti will be replaced at Racing 92 by another International, Cameron Woki (Bordeaux-Bègles). A good omen before attacking the European Cups.

For his part, Théo Dachary, 25, started at Stade Montois, before joining Biarritz then Toulon in 2019, where his contract was therefore not extended. The player who plays as a center has only played three games this season due to a cruciate ligament rupture in the knee in December, but he intends to revive under his new colors.
