Spanish badminton continues to accumulate international experience… and medals. On this occasion, the national promises have left their mark in the Croatia VALAMAR Junior Open 2022 and the Austrian U17 Open 2022. At the U19 level, the great winners have been Nikol Carulla and Rodrigo Sanjurjo, who won the bronze in the mixed doubles event. On the other hand, in Austrian lands, the Aragonese Alejandro Gallego, bronze in the men’s individual, and the Andalusian tandem formed by Rocío Martín and Ángela Jiménez, bronze in the women’s doubles, shone with their own light.

Spain had an important representation in both tournaments, since up to 10 national volantistas competed in Dubrovnik and another 11 did so in Dornbirn.
