The two central defenders Niklas Süle (26/FC Bayern) and Nico Schlotterbeck (22/SC Freiburg) as well as six-man Salih Özcan (24/1.FC Cologne) will strengthen the Dortmund defensive network in the coming season.
Karim Adeyemi (20/RB Salzburg) should ensure flexibility on the offensive, Sébastien Haller (28/Ajax Amsterdam) should fill the gap left by Neuner Erling Haaland (21/Manchester City). The obligation is already fixed, but will not be officially announced until July.
BVB still wants to improve on the left side of defence. Preferred player is David Raum. However, the 24-year-old national player will also lured by the Premier League and should cost 30 to 40 million euros transfer fee.
Before that, one or the other sale would have to be processed. As an alternative to Raum, Ramy Bensebaini (27/Borussia Mönchengladbach) is also a candidate for the black and yellow.
