Last Saturday, June 18, 2022, three players from the Estella Badminton Club were present in the town of Vitoria (Álava) to play the Ranking Territorial Tournament Sub15, Sub19 and Senior.
Players from the Estella Badminton Club traveled to the capital of Alava: Javier Martínez de Olcoz, Francisco Javier Baquedano and Ángel Urra. On a day in which there were very high temperatures, we must value the effort made by our players in really difficult conditions for the practice of sport, due to the suffocating heat.
The most outstanding results were: Francisco Javier Baquedano (champion in Men’s Singles B2), Francisco Javier Baquedano and Ángel Urra (champions in Men’s Doubles B1), and third place achieved by Ángel Urra in Men’s Singles B2.
The Estella Badminton Club concludes, with the dispute of this tournament, the competition season before the summer season. Wish all CBE members and its Board of Directors that they enjoy the summer holidays, so well deserved after all the effort made since the beginning of the 2022 season.
