With a ceremony attended by authorities, athletes and families, the Cus Siena Judo building was named yesterday, Sunday 5 June, to the unforgettable master Bruno Nibbi, who passed away on 4 June 2021.
Present were the rector of the University of Siena Francesco Frati, the national technical director for Italian judo Laura Di Toma, the lawyer Francesco Usai, former president of the Tuscany Judo regional committee who read a long letter sent by Domenico Falcone, national president of the Italian Federation of Judo Fight Karate Martial Arts, the president of the regional federation Mario Cerrai and of course the leaders of Cus Siena with the president Giuseppe Gotti.
It was Gianni Colombini who remembered the figure of the historical master of Cus Judo, then the touching words of Bruno Nibbi’s son, Leonardo and his wife Grazia.
