The Fundació per l’Esport Balear has incorporated a new sport into its technical programs from next season. Specifically, it is the Judo Sports Technology Program. There are currently a total of 23 technical programs offered by the Sports Technology Center of the Balearic Islands.
Judo has been considered, within the selection process, as the contact sport that presents the best conditions in the regional and state context, with sufficient national structure and guarantees of both training and trainers to be able to implement a sports modernization program and project participating athletes towards higher stages such as high performance and the Olympic Program.
