Feyenoord must look further in the transfer market. The Rotterdammers have made Bas Dost an offer to transfer to De Kuip transfer-free, but the experienced striker has declined.
This reports RTV Drenthe journalist Niels Dijkhuizen. Dost seems to be more interested in a return to FC Emmen. The 33-year-old striker went through the entire youth academy there and made his debut in professional football in the 2007-2008 season. Dost now wants to end his career there.
Feyenoord already saw Cyriel Dessers and Bryan Linssen leave. Danilo Pereira da Silva was taken over on a free transfer and Dost also had to strengthen the stadium club’s attack. Technical director Frank Arnesen can now transfer. Uruguayan striker Thiago Borbas was previously associated with Feyenoord.
