3 The return of escape games

This will please all those who had thought about the last escape games organized by Cindy Garnier, alias Professor Plume, in the heart of the castle. A new adventure, with three levels of difficulty, for groups of 2 to 6 people, will be organized on July 9, 10, 13, 14, 16 and 17, and August 6, 7, 10, 11, 13 and 14. A remarkable fortress

The Château de Montcornet, a fortress listed in the supplementary inventory of Historic Monuments since 1926, will open its doors to visitors via the events already mentioned, but also every weekend and public holiday until the end of September (except Mondays in July and August). This will be an opportunity to discover or rediscover the ” feudal colosseum by the historian Michelet, built between the 11th and 15th centuries, by the Montcornet and Croÿ families. Although the building has suffered in the past from the ravages of time – and from the auction of many architectural elements in 1766 – there is still much more to discover than the “ruins” sometimes expected by those who do not know the site.
