The Young Squad youth association of Almendralejo has organized the second edition of the Youth Week that proposes sports tournaments, adventure exhibitions and lots of music from June 27 to July 3 in two locations: the municipal sports center and the Las Vegas park. Mercedes.
The sports tournaments will be held at the Tomás de la Hera sports center and there will be indoor soccer, volleyball and basketball on the 27th, 28th and 29th, respectively. There will be trophies for the first two classified by teams and cash prizes of 100 and 75 euros. Teams with young people between 14 and 24 years old can participate, while the registration quota is open until June 24. There will also be a rugby open day.
Activities with music, freestyle, cockfights and local DJ festivals will take place in the park, as well as airsoft sports, a climbing wall, archery and the summer cinema.
Beatriz Hierro, from Young Squad, and Councilor Domingo Cruz have asked for proposals to incorporate into the program and that can be sent through the email youth [email protected], or directly to the Department of Youth in the Almendralejo City Council. From Young Squad they expect a high youth participation.
