Another scandal is added to the 2022 campaign, where the benches were emptied and there were blows of all kinds. The Majors made a drastic decision

In what has unfortunately become commonplace, a new emptying of benches caused a monumental fight in the 2022 season of the Major League Baseball (MLB)this time starring Los Angeles Angelsfrom Japanese Shohei Ohtaniy Seattle Mariners.
The events occurred last Sunday, in the city of Anaheim, California, in the last game of the series between both teams from the Western Division in the American League, specifically at the beginning of the second inning, with Andrew Wantz pitcher, and Jesse Winker on the plate.
A release of pitcher of Angels to the rival’s leg, caused a tension to be generated that led to the Mariners player approaching the local bench, to start a brawl that grew to such a magnitude that it became uncontrollable for the umpiresgenerating a moment of maximum tension in MLB 2022.

As a result of this incident, the judges decided to expel eight players, including the local interim manager, Phil Nevinand hours later, was the senior vice president of major league field operations, Michael Hillwho announced fines and punishments for those involved in the event.
Among the strongest sanctions is the suspension of the Angels coach for 10 parties from MLB 2022, from Winker with seven; J. P. Crawford, Anthony Rendon, and Dom Chiti with five; Andrew Wantz and Ryan Tepera with three; Julio Rodriguez, Raisel Iglesias, Ray Montgomery and Manny Del Campo with two; plus Bill Haselman with one.
