Senior – KMB 2010

Welcome to Senior in KMB2010

In KMB we have a broad senior department consisting of approx. 45-50 senior players. We have a goal of retaining young talent by providing assistance for individual training and tournaments. We want to retain experienced players through social events and togetherness across teams. In addition, we are working towards the following goal for season 21/22:

• 1st team: qualification for the League
• 2nd team: qualification for the promotion game / survival
• 3rd team: promotion to 3rd division
• 4th team: promotion to the KS series

Seniors’ visions
In addition to our goals, our team rests on the following basic visions:

1. We prioritize strong unity and social activities
2. We value and develop all our players
3. We have room for players with different ambitions – both elite and wide
4. We integrate new players both from outside and from our own ranks

Team distribution and training
There are four teams at Senior:

• 1st team playing in 1st division
• 2nd team playing in 2nd division
• The 3rd team that plays in the Danish league
• The 4th team that plays in Serie 1

In addition, a number of senior players participate in the club’s youth senior training, which is for the club’s best youth players and youngest senior players. All senior players also have a joint training twice a week, where all the club’s 8 courts are used.

In addition to the training, the senior department places great emphasis on social life. We have an activity committee that is constantly responsible for events, parties and not least the highlight of the year: the Christmas lunch.

Coaches
The senior teams are led by Dennis Christensen (head coach) and Mikkel Mikkelsen (playing assistant coach).

Who plays at Senior?
At Senior, everyone is passionate about badminton and development – both individually and together. The average age is 22-23 years.
