A great day of sport in anticipation in Saint-Pierre-lès-Elbeuf. In particular, it will be possible to practice judo, football or even cycling for free.
A sports day for everyone
For the second consecutive year, the municipality proposes to Saint-Pierrais, an event which aims, according to Yannick Gomis, assistant for sports and associative life, “to promote all sports: inclusive sport, adapted sport, health sport, leisure sport, etc… and to promote sport for all, to create social ties between all”.
The event, completely free, will take place on Wednesday June 15, 2022, at the Hauts-Vents sports complex, Avenue du Dué.
Sport and disability
The elected official states: “in the morning (from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.), we will work on inclusion with the children of the Max Brière Medical-Educational Institute and the sports associations of excellence labeled Sport and Handicap. In the afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., the site will be open to all and visitors will be able to try out several disciplines such as: football, cycling, wooden games, pedal karting, judo, inflatable structures, throwing games, motor skills workshop, etc. » A refreshment bar will offer participants free fruit juice.
In addition to the immediate fun nature of the day, the objective is to introduce the greatest number of different disciplines, as well as the sports facilities of the town and its many clubs and associations.
