The Senegalese striker of Liverpool Sadio Mané arrived in Munich on Tuesday for a medical examination before his expected signing with Bayern, report the daily Bild and the specialist magazine Kicker.
Arriving on a private jet, Sané, 30, was taken to a hospital in the city where a doctor from Bayern Munich was waiting for him. When he left the buildings, he took the time to sign a few autographs and was already wearing an official Bavarian club t-shirt.
This is an additional step towards his transfer to the German champion club for an estimated amount of around 40 million euros.
Sadio Mané could sign for three seasons and his first press conference in his new colors would take place on Wednesday.
Candidate for the Ballon d’Or this year, the winner of the African Cup of Nations with Senegal and finalist of the Champions League with Liverpool would strengthen a club which is about to lose its star striker, the Pole Robert Lewandowski.
