The national stage will take place from October 24 in the seaside resort of Mar del Plata. Seniors will compete from November 7 in the province of San Luis.
After two years without competitions, this year the traditional Evita National Games will be held again, to be held from October 24 to 29.
The games will return with greater expectations of participation and important novelties in sports competitions.
The city of Mar del Plata, traditional venue for the event, will receive on this occasion more than 20,000 participants from the 23 provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, in what is expected to be a true celebration of conventional youth sport and for People with disabilities.
With several disciplines that had already been added to the competition template in 2020, plus those that already bring together thousands of athletes from all over the country, the Evita Games will offer the possibility of attending an event made up of 55 sports, among those arranged for disabled participants. The categories are: conventional: under 14, under 15, under 16, under 17. Adapted sports: under 14, under 16 and under 18.
The adaptation of 7-a-side football to a mixed modality and the incorporation of climbing, futsal, beach handball, roller skating, skateboarding, tennis and archery show that the Evita National Games continue to grow.
In La Rioja, registrations with the local stage are now open throughout the month of June.
The disciplines in which athletes can participate are: Aquathlon, Chess, Archery, Athletics, Badminton, 3×3 and 5×5 Basketball, Boxing, Canoeing, Basketball, Cycling, MTB, Climbing, Fencing, Football 11 and 7, Futsal, Gymnastics Artistic, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampoline Gymnastics, Handball, Beach Handball, Hockey, Judo, Karate, Olympic Lifting, Freestyle Wrestling, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Swimming, Artistic Swimming, Optimist, Figure Skating, Roller Skating, Paddle Ball, Rugby, Skateboarding, Taekwondo , Tennis, Table Tennis, Shooting, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball and Windsurfing.
Older adults
Registration is also now open in the Province of La Rioja, for older people who want to participate in the Local Stage that will qualify for the Provincial Stage of the Evita 2022 Games in the Senior Adults category, to be held in San Luis from 7 to November 11th.
Registration is until June 30 and can be older people born before December 31, 1962.
The disciplines in which to participate are: Table tennis, Shuffleboard, Toad, Orienteering, Padel, Chess, Trick and Newcom.
