The Belgian volleyball men drag themselves to the end of the Golden League. At home against the undefeated Czech Republic, they lost again, for the 4th time in a row. The Red Dragons were able to steal a 2nd set in this year from the Czechs.
The Belgians were already eliminated for the Final 4 of the Golden League after 4 matches, including 3 defeats, but the young team was able to gain some experience against the Czech Republic and collect points for the world ranking.
The first worked, but the second didn’t. Only in the second set did the Red Dragons show flashes of their class, which was enough to win the set.
On Saturday, the Belgians will close their campaign in the Golden League with a visit to Latvia, which has never won a single time.
