Quindians will be present at the Bolivarian Games

There is very little left for the start of the XIX Valledupar-2022 Bolivarian Games. On June 24, the fairs will start in which the department of Quindío will have representation not only with athletes, but also with coaches and judges.

“We have the participation of five athletes: María Yulieth Pérez, in badminton, who will participate in doubles, mixed doubles and women’s doubles, the triathlete Lina María Raga will be competing in the sprint category, Thomás Nieto will participate in pole vault, Sérika Mitchell Gulumá will participate in all the track events, and Clara Juliana Guerrero, our renowned bowler, will be representing Colombian bowling”, highlighted David Alberto Rojas, associate sports technician at Indeportes Quindío.

“Similarly, the departmental handball coach, Tatiana Mercedes Herrera, and Jaime Zapata, badminton, will be part of the coaching staff in their respective disciplines,” he added. These games will have 3,400 athletes from 11 countries competing in 33 sports and 54 disciplines.
