PSM Brings 25 Players in the President’s Cup, Two of them are Academy Dropouts

TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM, MAKASSAR – PSM Makassar brought 25 players to face the pre-season tournament, President’s Cup.

“There are 25 players brought to compete in the President’s Cup,” said PSM Media Officer, Sulaiman Abdul Karim, Wednesday (8/6/2022).

PSM brought four foreign players. Willem Jan Pluim, Everton Nascimento, Yuran Fernandes and Kenzo Nambu.

Two academy dropouts were also included. Namely Muh Dzaky and Ananda Raehan.

Meanwhile, five academy dropouts were not included. Patrick Kallon, Renaldi, Ibnul Mubarak, Edgard Amping and Ricky Pratama.

Patrick Kallon and Renaldi were not chosen by PSM coach Bernardo Tavares.

Because, both of them participated in PSM training at the Bosowa Sport Center (BSC) field, Jl Teuku Umar, Makassar City on Tuesday (7/6/2022).

Ibnul Mubarak is still in selection from injury. Meanwhile, Edgard Amping and Ricky Pratama have not returned from the U-19 national team.

Abdul Rahman Sulaeman and Mahdi Albaar were also not taken. Likewise with two trial players, Billy Ceraf and Tegar Infantry.

Goalkeeper Rivky Mokodompit is also not on the squad list. The status of the 33-year-old goalkeeper is indeed a puzzle at PSM.
